General principles
Cloetta Fazer prioritises a long-term approach to value creation, primarily by building and nurturing profitable brands.
Cloetta Fazer recognises and supports the ten principles in the UN’s Global Compact and works to promote these in the societies and environments where we conduct business.
To ensure that we act in compliance with our general principles, Cloetta Fazer has adopted a number of basic standards:
• We comply with the applicable laws, regulations and norms in the countries where we operate.
• We conduct our operations with the highest standards of integrity and ethics and are accountable for our actions.
• We respect the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights and accept our responsibility for protecting the rights of employees and society in our operations (Principles 1 and 2, Global Compact).
• We take part in international collaborative efforts to improve the working conditions of those active in producing our raw materials, such as cocoa.
In the areas where we are conduct business, we encourage our suppliers to adhere to the principles in our Code of Conduct.

Consumer and customer relations
Based on a strong Nordic position, Cloetta Fazer strives to act and be perceived as a forerunner in the industry. The company shall offer confectionery of the highest class, strong brands and the best new products and enhancements. Cloetta Fazer creates added value for customers and consumers alike.
We safeguard and respect the trust customers and consumers invest in us by honouring their legitimate right to information about our values and activities.
Employee relations
Employee relations are built on a foundation of mutual respect and trust. Our terms of employment comply with the provisions in collective agreements, national laws and the relevant ILO conventions.
Business ethics
Corruption, bribes and unfair competition-restricting practices distort the market and hinder economic, social and democratic progress. Cloetta Fazer never accepts or employs such methods.
Environment
Environmental consideration permeates every aspect of our work. Our ambition is to consistently surpass the expectations of consumers, customers and other stakeholders with respect to our product safety, quality and environmental performance.
