In general, we do not sponsor individuals, associations, clubs, schools, etc. We receive so many requests from a local perspective that we are unable to handle these in a rational and objective manner. For this reason, we sponsor only initiatives and events of national interest which serve as an alternative media channel for us, something we can use in our in-store promotion and lead to increased sales. Our sponsorship undertakings should also be naturally linked to and consistent with the strategic marketing plans for our brands.
